I have been keeping an active “TREADMILL” schedule. As June (Odell Lake trip) approaches, I’ve decided to trim back my eBaying by 1/3. I’m going to be selling 17 items each week rather than the current 26. I am eliminating my Wednesday auction, focusing solely on Sunday. I’ll have one item closing every 15 minutes between the hours of 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM. and schedule their replacements for the first week in May. Then I’m pulling the eBay plug for all of June and most likely July. My internal batteries need charging! Well, I pulled the plug. Sunday, May 7, will be my last auction until August or September. I’m going to use my time (a huge chunk of about 80 hours per week) to get ready for my Odell Trip. I need to start by cleaning my personal area in the office, so I can tie my fishing lures. Having a less chaotic work environment will be helpful as well.
The progress on the house has been nothing but miraculous. A special thank you to Patty Higham, Kathy Soto and Ernie Soto. Words do not exist to communicate the depth of my appreciation or it’s importance to me, so HUGS must be shared! Now that I have only one auction left, Patty can start on the formal dining room. Then I think reorganizing the formal living room, with its storage racks of salable eBay merchandise is the next thing to tackle. The basement will require a herculean effort by multiple people, to discover the treasures and sort the wheat from the chaff. We will need a couple of Pods (to save salable) and a “dipsty” dumpster for the wrappers, etc.
Enough of work that needs to be done. I’m starting to prepare for Odell Lake. The good news, I never converted to boat from Odell kokanee to salmon, so my work prepping the boat is minimal. Tying those lures will be fun. I’m blessed, in that my son will be with me for the first 4 or 5 days at Odell, friends will hopefully come and fish and then my daughter’s family will end the trip with me. I’m starting to confirm times for friends to come and fish so the flow is smooth.
Life is good!
