Making progress

Well, another day another dollar! I just completed my second week of selling 18 items of my late wife’s large collection of QVC jewelry. I started by selling nine auction items each week, between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Sunday night. The best time for sales on eBay is from 1700 to 2100. I tried filling that time interval coming into Christmas and found selling 17 items closing every 15 minutes too overwhelming for me, so I settled on selling 9 items, one every 15 minutes between 1700 and 1900. The pace was manageable. Now I’ve added a Wednesday auction sale of 9 items between 1700 and 1900. I’m keeping very busy. Once all the sales are schedule to get posted on eBay, I must start my scavenger hunt to identify 18 new items, write their eBay descriptions and find the original QVC prices. Once that task is complete and I have extra days/time available, I will go through the many photographs of our travel and add them to http://rossdickinson.com/home/. This is a busy schedule, but it allows me to spend time with the precious memories of my travels with my beloved Mary.

My “band family” is being so supportive/helpful, you all know who you are, in helping me go forward with the smile I need to keep. Thank you all. I will still show up at band practices and talk/hug all of those members we traveled the world with. Yes, I’ll get to those pictures of our China trip, but the fact I didn’t change the “camera time” to reflect the time zone we were in, leaves me having the “think too hard” to segment the photos into the event timing there. I’ll get it, but probably with some hiccups.

Thank you to all and good night. I hope I can sleep another four or five hours.
