Woodruff’s Nursery on River Road

I was there from when I was 4.5 years old and on in the summers, until I hit my teens. Now 75, living it again by making greeting cards, wall art and sharing the story. I’m certainly living life to the fullest. I always have. I returned to the land with the rest of the hippies in the 60s. I grabbed a 17+ acre piece of a former working dairy. Worked graveyard for Safeway, had two milk cows for over 5 years, I’ll never want a milk farm again. The reason behind farming were rooted at twelve. Beginning of the new testosterones just beginning. Grandparents subdivided the last Donation Land claim, each child got a large lot. Grandma Great lived there for a bit longer before she sold it to the couple that purchased Woodruff’s Nursery.
