Life has a way of providing many smiles. The new lady in my life has a name. Joanne Larsell, she has two dachshunds, Bella and Copper. We’ve figured a way to travel with them crated in the backseat of the GMC, so camping using the camper is a possibility! We are off to Ocean Shores, WA to use a timeshare for a week and explore the area. The timeshare condo is not very far from Quinault Beach Resort & Casino and there are several other interesting places to eat. Since the timeshare does not allow dogs we will have seven days without the pack. Boy will they be glad to see us when we get back on December 22nd. We’re planning on attending the Atmospherics at Pioneer Courthouse Square – Saturday December 23.
Christmas this year will be at Joanne’s. On December 28 she’s having surgery on her left foot to remove bone spurs under her Achilles tendon. She’s coming out to my house (one level) in St. Helens to recover. I’ll be able to take care of her meals, care, resume eBay and have a special friend near. The dogs get along very well and since Greta is truly an off leash dog, Bella and Copper are functionally off leash as well.
I managed to find a good home for Magpie, the cat. Joanne is allergic to cats so now I can get the carpets steam cleaned before she starts her recovery.
