I haven’t been faithful about sharing my life with my friends. Lots of things are happening. The painter that is painting the interior of my house had a bad car accident, broke his hip/etc and is rehabing. Since I’m not in a hurry, I’m waiting to see if he can rehabilitate enough to finish the job.
I recently met an 85 year old relative of Josey’s that danced with his wife for over an hour without needing to sit down. When he was 70 he had both knees replaced at the same time. He encouraged me to seek relief. I’m a guy that has trouble standing for long periods of time. I’ve decided to have “fake” knees installed in my body. My right knee will be replaced on December 21, 2018. Please join me in singing, “All I want for Christmas is a NEW right knee, a NEW right knee….” The surgeon will treat my left knee with cortisone during my surgery. Then we will replace the left knee in 3 months. The surgeon has me riding my bike, which is set up on a stand in the “old office” with a view of the front porch. I’ve started doing the pre- surgery exercises and have noticed a decrease in pain when I walk, not enough to cancel the surgery, but enough to have hope. As always, my pack wishes me Bueno Swerte!

It sounds like you have a good plan set up. Good luck!
Wishing you the best for that surgery, Ross. Those doggies are all real cuties. Happy hidays to you and Josey.
What I didn’t share is Josey and I leave Friday the 14th of December for a mini vacation in Sunriver after my Dr,’s pre surgery appointment. All my children and grandchildren are meeting for our “Christmas” get together in Bend on Saturday, December 15. So Blessed.
Thinking of you and praying for a speedy recovery after your surgery. Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
