Life and times, an update: Learning; Living; Loving

Life continues to provide many smiles and companionship for this traveler. Joanne had her surgery to remove bone spurs under her left Achilles Tendon. The surgery happened on December 28, 2017. She is staying with me in St. Helens, my house is all on one level, hers is three levels + a basement. We travel to her West Linn home occasionally, for doctor appointments and Campfile meetings regarding Camp Namanu. I’ve joined the Friends of Camp Namanu group and will be doing volunteer work to support this fine camp program. Lots of opportunity to “give back” as we all like to do. There will be more on this as time goes forward! I’ve managed to get the “eBay Express” running again. It started out slow, but the users have found my “clothing product” to be very attractive. I’m now selling 25 to 30 items per week (I list 34). I’m working on my marketing approach and hope to soon be averaging a ten dollar bill per item. The best bottom line is I am getting rid of lots of stuff, although it takes a bunch of time. I’ve gotten pretty efficient at the eBay processing and have time to do a few other things.

As often happens when you are busy and enjoying yourself, time gets away from you. I’ve neglected to continue my blogging. I saved the above paragraph on February 22nd. It is now into April. This year has been tremendous. Learning, living and loving.

    • Betsy, nice to hear from you. I’ve been too quiet for too long!

      Lots of blogblurbs bubbling.
      EBay ads are adblurbs.
Part of the rhythm of life.
      Expect more, give no less.
      A recipe for success.
      You mustn’t forget the roses,
      Those pauses for your joy.

I’ve stopped eBay for a month or two while I’m having some repairs done on the house. We’re in a rainy period. A bit of sun (maybe Monday) would be nice.
