Lessie has three weeks off once school finishes this year. She’s been very busy, becoming a Master Trainer and designing and presenting training for use in Early Childhood Education while continuing her full time job as Head Start family coordinator. My goal during this three weeks of nomadic life is to convince her to retire sooner rather than later. We’re going to start by traveling to the Enterprise and Joseph area for a few days, the head north up Ore 3 (Enterprise Lewiston Highway). Our only reservations for this vacation are in Clarkston, WA. We three nights reserved for the camper and have a full day booked with Beamer’s Hells Canyon Tours. Greta has a doggy day care reservation at Fur Family Cinema in Clarkston.
We are then in meander mode! Photographs of Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainer at sunrise, then slow trip on WA 12 between the two mountains. Neither of us as been through the area before, so expect a photo or two. Her older sister lives on Vashon Island, so we’ll stop there for a day or two. Then we will mosey up Hood Canal. Think seasonal seafood. Circling the Olympics while taking pictures, eating well, camping our way along. If the salmon are running, perhaps a charter trip for the larder! Lessie grew up in Aloha, WA, so we will definitely be taking our time. Wanderlust for sure, Quinault Resort and Casino has an all you can eat crab night. Maybe we’ll get lucky. Photos in Hoh River valley!
