Through my lens - 2012 Loyalty Days in Long Beach, WA

The longest consecutively running "Loyalty Days" celebration in the nation. Always a good time and and enthusiastic crowd.

A personal note. I first attended the Loyalty Days Parade in 2005, just a week or so after my first date, with Mary Newell. I proposed to her on the way home from Loyalty Days in 2006. The band events were a big part of our lives, but not even close to the whole. We traveled a lot and took lots of photographs, which are serving me well as I move forward as a widower.
