My 2 month recharge…grew to 4ish..life is good….

A long time with no dialog on my blog. I spent a month at Odell Lake, fishing with friends and family. I also did some scattering of Mary and Keisha’s ashes. For the most part I had a good time, but the loneliness is sometimes overpowering. I’ll get through this but the traverse is challenging. There are always interesting things happening in my life. I am grateful for them. The most recent notable event is from Match.com. When I decided I didn’t want to do “here to the end” alone, I made a profile on that site. A very interesting lady reached out to me with, “I’m sorry for the loss of your wife. If you want to talk I would be happy to meet with you for coffee. I am not a trumpster!” Well, that was an understatement of our common interests, although she and I had no way to know it then. We emailed back and forth and talked on the phone a couple of times and met for lunch at a restaurant at one of the Albany exits on my way home from Odell. We both had milk cows(s), raised rabbits, pigs, chickens and own(ed) 15ish acre farms. Our striking similarities continue to show up as we continue to build our friendship. We were both very busy with our individual projects but were enjoying getting to know one another. Well, as things go, all does not go the way one expects it to. That is why life…is called living. Things change, the secret in it is to never lose your joy!

I’ve taken more than two months off. I haven’t blogged for quite a while. It is near the end of September….I took June, July, August and over half of September off. If I look closely at the start and stop times of eBay, I’ve had nearly 4 months off. Not off from life, just time off from eBay. Patty Higham and the Soto’s did so much to get the clearing the house going in a good direction. I’ve now contracted with an Estate Services specialist. We hope to be finished by Easter, with going through everything and finding homes or selling things. I had an underground diesel tank that I’ve had mitigated. I got lucky, no soil needed to be removed. The tank was pumped and filled with a perlite slurry, then the concrete of above the tank replaced.

I started the eBay Express again effective September 24. I have 18 scheduled to start a 7 day auction cycle.
